About The Role
Dyson is expanding to achieve 80% of sales through direct channels. This role is part of the Dyson Demo Store team, supporting the Global VP and collaborating with various global directors and stakeholders. The role requires building strong relationships and advising senior stakeholders to ensure Dyson's retail and events provide an exceptional brand experience.
As a Supervisor, you will report to the Assistant Store Manager and help ensure the smooth daily operation of the store. You'll guide the team in the absence of store management and deliver outstanding customer experiences by demonstrating Dyson products. You will also identify and address potential challenges behind the scenes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Act as a support/link between Store Management and the team whilst taking accountability for some elements of the day to day running of the store
Lead by example and support the team to deliver an environment that heroes our machines, delivering best in class demonstrations and experiences
Together with the Assistant Store Manager, review store results to understand the store and customers behaviour to deliver business growth
Be an expert in our technology and support the launch of new products and services
When required opening and closing of the store
Continuously build product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments, while supporting the team to do the same
What Skills Do You Need?
Proven understanding of retail and experience in supporting the day to day operations of a store
Work in a collaborative style with a passion to always deliver a 5 star customer experience while driving commercial results
Proven ability communicating and engaging with stakeholders
Able to solve problems and/or challenge convention at a day to day level
An understanding of in-store operations including managing work schedules and stock management
Ideally have an understanding of the beauty industry
