About us

The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology is unlike any other higher education institution. Our Undergraduate Engineers work alongside the Global Engineering team from day one. They are responsible for live projects, all while studying for their engineering degree and earning a competitive salary. All of which is underpinned by exceptional student support.

We put the health and wellbeing of students at the centre of all that we do. We create an environment in which students feel supported, while curating opportunities to develop personally and professionally throughout the programme – ensuring they don’t just survive, they thrive.

About the role

You’ll be one of a team of four Student Support Advisors, who each support one year group of around 40 Undergraduate Engineers. You’ll deliver a personalised wellbeing and development experience to the undergraduates you support.

You’ll spend roughly 50% of your time in regular 1:1s with every undergraduate in your year group. These could include offering wellbeing support, coaching them to reach their personal and professional goals, to signposting relevant support services. You’ll also work closely with the team of Student Support Advisors, to maintain consistency across the provision and undergraduate experience.

The other 50% you'll be working on, and delivering, undergraduate experience and wellbeing projects, such as workshops, ‘Wellbeing and Development’ days, and awareness campaigns.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a passionate, close-knit team in an exciting and emerging higher education provider.
