Supplier Relationship Manager

Supplier Relationship Management
United Kingdom - Malmesbury Office

About us

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations and more people.

Pioneering technology takes more than just inventive engineers. At Dyson, we take a problem-solving approach to everything we do. And across our support teams, we’re proud to be different. And importantly, we support change to maintain our rapid growth.

About the role

The new Employee Services function within Dyson Business Services (DBS) organisation will provide process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions, with a goal of innovating and enhancing employee services over time, to meet the changing needs of the business.

Joining the team as we grow globally, you’ll be leading relationship management activity by building, evolving and nurturing relationships with our largest strategic suppliers.  In this new role, you’ll be developing our approach to governance through the implementation of new supplier management frameworks and analysing and managing financial and non-financial information to underpin the delivery of long term commercial and financial plans.

Partnering with business leaders across Supply Chain, IT, Procurement, Finance and HR and others, you’ll undertake business reviews with these suppliers to align our operating model and technology to achieve value and performance-based outcomes.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and executing strategies to drive performance, including quality, customer satisfaction and cost in partnership.
  • Managing the commercial impact of operational changes and gain supplier and senior management approval of changes.
  • Managing third party performance against key SLA’s and KPI’s and challenging supplier costs etc.
  • Producing reports for senior leadership through obtaining performance information from vendors.
  • Supporting the development and optimisation of SRM tools, methodology and practices (within a relatively ‘greenfield' environment) to implement a global best-practice approach.

You’ll be based on site, either at our state-of-the-art technology campus in Malmesbury, Wiltshire or our office in Bristol City Centre.

This is a unique opportunity to truly influence our supplier management strategy and contribute your ideas to help develop and perfect our best practice approach!
