About us

Dyson Singapore is looking to hire a Supply Chain Solutions Manager for our Technology Centre.

Dyson Overview:

Our Singapore story began in 2004 and today we have more than 1000 people working here. At the beginning of 2017 we opened our new, state of the art, Singapore Technology Centre in Science Park I, minutes from Singapore’s technology and start-up community. This new Technology Centre houses some of Dyson’s most advanced facilities including Robotics and Sensors laboratories and Smart Home, Connectivity & Mobile Applications laboratories as well as an Advanced Control Tower with the latest technology to develop its analytics-driven activities.

About the role

The Supply Chain Solution Architect (SA) will work with various functional stakeholder teams within Dyson to design, develop, and deliver transformative programmes on supply chain digitization. The SA will drive cross-functional teams to develop the product strategies and technical architectures to define the innovations and technology required unlock digital business outcomes. In particular, we are looking for a seasoned subject matter expert with supply chain operations, process, and solution experience and deep understanding of the fundamentals and challenges facing a broad set of modern supply chains.

An ideal SA candidate has experience developing and running large technology-enabled supply chain transformation programmes and driving complex technical initiatives. The SA should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against an industry product plan and consistently deliver on strategic goals and milestones. The ideal candidate will possess both the business and technical subject matter expertise that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with supply chain operators, software developers, and IT architects. The SA will be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who has a track record of systems-level problem solving and developing successful strategic plans to execute in highly ambiguous and innovative problem spaces. The SA will need to thrive in fast-paced dynamic environment and have very strong communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technical architecture development, strategic partnerships, or product management experience
  • 5+ years of experience building supply chain products or driving supply chain transformation, e.g. building products for use by customers in digitizing their supply chains, or leading a major supply chain transformation initiative.
  • Experience developing sophisticated product strategy and successfully executing that strategy to drive customer business outcomes.
  • Experience defining and running process optimization programs in complex supply chains.
  • Broad experience across supply chain operations in different industries and different supply chain categories.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, and an ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Optional specific systems knowledge: SAP S4/Hana ERP, SAP MES, SAP Hybris, SalesForce Cloud, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Distributed Order Management Systems, TMS, WMS, IoT, machine learning and Edge software platforms.
