About the Role
The Talent Manager is responsible for working alongside the Global Head of Talent and Succession and our global team of talent partners to deliver global Talent Programs. This role will be a strong Program Manager and global connecter within the Talent and Succession Team to ensure consistency across the team and to ensure we are driving our significant Talent agenda forward. This role will report to the Global Head of Talent & Succession.
Understand Dyson talent management philosophy and work alongside the Talent Partners to deliver the talent strategy
Leverage global frameworks, processes and approaches with local nuance as required, to embed a calendar of activities that will enable Dyson to identify, manage and develop our talent
Maintain a solid and up to date understanding of business priorities and organisation capability needs
Be an active member in the global talent team community; Bring expertise, fresh perspectives, and share best practices.
Lead the deployment of the Global Talent Review cycle, ensuring the process is well understood amongst all stakeholders and technology supports the process seamlessly.
Assists with Executive Committee Talent Forum preparations and may assist in preparations for markets or functions as needed. These are platforms to raise profiles, address risks, improve career progression and internal mobility. Talent data will be used to drive rich conversation and action.
Contribute to the development of talent dashboards and glean insights from this data to inform all programmatic work as well as executive material development
Lead the global roll out of global talent development programs such as Momentum and Senior Leadership Transitions
Influence development of future global talent development initiatives and programmes
Assist the Talent Director in preparing/maintaining Succession Plan materials for the Board and Executive Committee.

Qualifications you possess
Degree qualification ideally in a business or Human Resources related field
Knowledge of talent management and development, employment legislation, program management, systems, policy and procedures
Minimum 5 years’ career experience with 3 years in a similar role
Excellent English and knowledge of local language/culture as applicable
Working in a fast-paced team environment with high volume activities and changing priorities
Familiar with a matrix-style management structure, with key stakeholders overseas, and a UK/SG (or international) head-office
