About the role:

Elevate the user experience on dyson.com by identifying and driving ongoing improvements and optimizations to deliver our direct-to-consumer business goals for 2022 and beyond. You will be responsible for executing and reporting A/B and multivariate tests. By utilizing user insights and data, you will lead the planning, execution, and reporting of optimization tests. The testing output will feed into the dyson.com enhancement pipeline and create a playbook for future site merchandising.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES: 

Responsible for leading the planning and design of A/B optimization tests on dyson.com

  • Lead the planning and launch of optimization tests to feed into future dyson.com enhancements, journeys, page layouts, and creative campaigns.
  • Advocate for user-centered design methodologies and incorporate qualitative and quantitative findings into optimization test plans
  • Strategize tests that will drive fundamental improvements to the user experience and key performance metrics
  • Collaborate and influence various teams (Creative, Site merchandising, Marketing, and Global) to plan and design A/B test experiences best suited for the user
  • Ensure clear test hypotheses and success metrics are developed with stakeholders based on testing requirements.
  • Enforce A/B testing best practices to ensure testing and data integrity.

Responsible for the executing optimization efforts

  • Work closely with technical teams to build, QA, launch, and monitor tests
  • In partnership with Optimization Specialist, evaluate the impact of concurrently running tests, events, launch of new features, and other website changes that might influence test results.

Responsible for the reporting of optimization efforts

  • Lead the reporting and interpretation of test results providing impact from a commercial perspective
  • Present and share out test results with the wider business

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Statistics, Web Analytics or related field).
  • +4 years’ experience in e-commerce and deep understanding of user journeys, digital usability, and user experience.
  • +2 years’ experience in executing A/B & and MVT multivariate tests (using Adobe target or similar tool)
  • Experience with statistics, web analytics, data analysis, and conversion optimization (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Proven track record of identifying new digital optimization opportunities based on data insights and interpreting into actionable test hypotheses and tests.
  • Test and learn mindset with strong marketing instincts
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Enthusiastic, committed, and a possess a high standard for the quality of their work
  • Develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking and business curiosity; ability to drive insights and decisions utilizing multiple inputs and data sources 
  • Ability to understand the Dyson brand and uphold its integrity  
  • Experience of working in a direct-to-consumer business
  • Experience with UAT testing and reporting
  • Familiarity and understanding of web development and technologies (CSS, JavaScript, HTML)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Experience Manager
