Travel and Expense Analyst

Purpose of role

This role will work closely with the Assistant Travel Manager to identify and implement improvement opportunities within our global and regional processes. You will be responsible for the administration of operational activities and answering queries relating to the Global Travel policy and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will strive to deliver a 'best in class', efficient service and will be a valued member of the wider Travel & Expense team at Dyson.

Accountabilities

  • Respond to Workday Help cases related to the Global T&E policy and booking processes.
  • Support in regional specific travel processes such as the Cross Board Land Transport.
  • Support in the development of policy compliance reporting for control and mitigation purposes.
  • Support in effective communication of Policy and process changes to the business.
  • Highlight emerging trends and potential issues that may impact operational or technical delivery, to ensure that the customer experience is not compromised.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand and support their business needs.
  • Involvement in key projects.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and other duties as required, these may at times include support to the Expense team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in operational support roles. (desirable)
  • English – fluent level in spoken and written (essential)
  • Business travel knowledge – booking tools and processes (desirable)
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent time and task management skills, highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise. (essential)
  • Adaptable and flexible; comfortable working under ambiguous, changing conditions (Essential)
  • Confident managing data; ability to understand and analyse statistical data and produce reports (desirable)
