Our in-house Creative team are responsible for explaining why our technology is better and ensuring that Dyson is always presented in the right way. We bring Dyson Technology to life, providing imagery, films, content, experiences, and services that explain our machines, their benefits, and the problems they solve for our Owners. We create assets and journeys that help Owners discover, choose, purchase, learn about and solve issues they may have with our machines. Alongside updating the front-end content, the Platform Team is responsible for testing new features on our Dyson CMS systems before they are implemented, ensuring new features work as expected without affecting any of the current features.

About the role

As our Platform Lead, reporting into the Head of Digital Delivery, you will be accountable for updates and maintenance for all web content across, ensuring all new product campaigns are completed on time and accurately, with ongoing updates to customer facing UX, copy, and imagery. You will also be responsible for the third-party relationship management of Hogarth’s offshore team, in their CMS capacity.

You will manage a team of Senior Platform Specialists and Platform Specialists, as well as roughly 30 external content admins, looking at our resource across various work streams, lining up the team’s goals with the goals of the business, and providing input for the team’s career development. For the external, offshore resource, you will ensure the team have what they need to complete the work assigned to them. This may include training on the relevant CMS platforms, I.T. access requests, and continuous monitoring of the backlog of tasks before they enter sprints.

Your role will have global scope, working with our markets to ensure we deliver global master content, ensuring work is carried out to a high quality, providing uniformity across our markets. You will have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all materials prior to presentation, either internally or externally. You will ensure that our Senior Platform Specialists are collaborating effectively with the Enhancements team to test new functionalities, delivering business validation testing, ensuring new website functionality is fit for purpose.

About you

  • 3+ years’ experience managing a team and using CMS platforms, preferably AEM, Hybris, Magento and/or Sitecore
  • A team-player with experience managing, motivating, and engaging with both direct and offshore teams
  • Able to plan-ahead, prioritise tasks, coordinate the work of others, a self-starter
  • Resilient, composed, able to overcome challenges, an effective communicator and collaborator with all levels within an organisation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, and preferably the Atlassian suite
