Workshop Operative

About the role

This position is responsible to support the Repair Workflow in his/her country for all products’ categories with daily activities and collaboration in the Italian Workshop and whole Aftermarket team.


  • Reporting to the Workshop Coordinator the essential duty is to grant the repairs workflow as per defined policy/process.

    • Support the D/D+1 target as Repair lead time

    • Follow Dyson guidelines and trainings for New Products


    • Understanding of all Dyson products

    • Able to identify following the guidelines eventually counterfeit products

    Operational interactions

    • Support daily activities at the Workshop

    • Able to cover all roles within the Repair workflow

    • Support in deploying any European initiative/projected locally

    Service Request management

    • Check and complete SLA of Repairs orders in Salesforce & Engage

    • Able to manage different steps in Salesforce with reference to the Repair management

  • Provides feedback and reporting to the Workshop Coordinator and the Quality Team to improve the In-Market services and to support the focus on the Owner Experience.

  • Fosters a sense of teamwork throughout the organization.

About you

  • Experience as Technician in a service/technical or manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of electronics

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Engage)

  • Basic English knowledge

  • Problem solving attitude

  • Pro active

  • Ability to learn and adapt to changes while delivering exceptional customer service

  • Motivation to work in highly dynamic environment that constantly evolves to incorporate new technologies and methods

  • Ability to cooperate as a dynamic team and perform as a group

  • Strong communication and adaption skills to insure good partnership with our CPM teams

  • Ethics/Values/Integrity/Trust
