For Graduate roles, you should have no more than two years of relevant work experience post-graduation. Our internships are for students in their second year of study and up. Do note that PhD students are not eligible – you might want to check out one of our open positions.

Our vacancies are up to date on our website. You can view them by searching for roles that you are interested in or by visiting our Early Careers Page. Once you’ve submitted your application, look out for an email from us (do check your junk mail). We receive a lot of applications, so please be patient.

You must apply via our career website. We do not accept any other form of application to make the process fair and consistent.

Yes – you may apply to more than one programme, but you’ll need to make a decision before the final interview. Therefore, we’d encourage you to pick the role/programme that interests you the most instead of submitting several applications.

1. Submit an application through our website. See all available Early Careers openings.
2. After an initial screening, you may be invited to take a Digital Assessment.
3. Once shortlisted, you’ll move on to a Final Stage Interview, which includes a technical exercise or business challenge as well as situational/motivational questions.

Depending on the programme you have applied to, there may be some variation in the process.

We want to give you every opportunity to showcase your skills and potential, which is why we've designed a comprehensive assessment process that includes a video interview, game-based assessment, and even a coding challenge for some programmes.

To help you prepare, we're providing ample practice time prior to the actual video interview recording. Simply look for the ‘Practice or Interview’ button in your invitation email, and you'll find three generic practice questions that you can redo as many times as you need.

We are committed to diversity, inclusion and belonging and our goal is for you to perform at your best. At the Digital Assessment stage, you can request for adjustments directly on our partner platform, HireVue. Look for the ‘Request Accommodations’ button in your assessment invitation, and you will be granted 25% extra time for completion. Should you have any requests for your final stage interview, please let our Early Careers representative know and we’ll do our best to help.

We want to make sure that you have the best chance of success, so we encourage you to draw upon your experiences from projects, hobbies, student clubs/societies, interest groups, or work activities that demonstrate the key skills outlined in the job description. We may also ask scenario-based questions to understand your decision-making process and problem-solving ability.

We understand that receiving feedback is crucial to improving and growing as a candidate, and we want to support you where we can. If you proceed on to the digital assessment stage a, HireVue will send you a personalised report that summarises your performance in each of the competencies assessed. If you proceed to the final interview stage, our Early Careers representatives will offer personalised feedback to help you put your best foot forward. Due to the volume of applications Dyson receives, we regret that we are unable to provide feedback at the early stages of an application.

We hire from a diverse range of universities and review applications on a case-by-case basis. However, work permit/visa regulations do vary by location and are subjected to local immigration laws and policies outside of Dyson’s control. We aim to find the best fit for you in terms of business area and geographical location.
