The Technology Development Department is composed of – Technology Systems, Product Performance & Acoustics and Simulation. Our engineers take full ownership of delivering projects from early stages of development until start of production. This role sits within the Acoustics and Vibration group mainly working on the effects of motor, airflow and other sources of noise and vibration. Considered as field of discipline experts, the Acoustics and Vibration team ensures our products are able to deliver the functionality without compromising customer experience. Based in Singapore and the Philippines, our team is at the forefront of innovation, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in product development.
About the role
You will support the acoustics and vibration aspects of the project, from first principles engineering to analytical modelling and design simulations. You will also be doing actual product and system tests in a state-of-the-art anechoic chamber, have access to equipment that can analyse the sensitivities of motor vibration. You will also have the exposure to industry standards and regulations involving noise, vibration, and harshness.
You will work alongside experienced engineers who will guide and mentor you as the project progresses. Using a mixture of simulation and testing, you will work together with engineers from various teams to ensure the product meets key performance targets. You will also support manufacturing processes by ensuring proper controls are in place for acoustic requirements of the product.

About you
The role will involve a lot of engineering training, innovative approaches to problems and a good amount of laboratory activities, the following skills are expected:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Basic knowledge of acoustics and vibration; experience in related sound measurement tool is a plus.
Have done related projects to motor vibration or has affinity to its real-world applications.
Possesses analytical skills and ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable chunks.
Ability to define and organise test procedures to understand the problem and measure effectivity of potential countermeasures.
Ability to structure available data and derive valuable insights from it.
Self-initiating and has a good sense of urgency.
Good team player and ability to present your work to technical / non-technical colleagues.
Please note that this role is for full-time onsite internship in Calamba, Laguna, from May to August 2025.
