About us

The Global Supply Chain Master Data and Analytics teams are dedicated to treating data as a product, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and value in driving operational excellence and strategic decision-making. By providing high-quality master data management and actionable insights across all regions and supply chain functions, the teams act as trusted partners to internal stakeholders, offering expertise in managing complex data structures and delivering reliable, impactful solutions that support the organization’s goals.

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Science/Data Product Specialist with deep expertise in supply chain operations and analytics to join our global team. As a subject matter expert, you will apply advanced statistical, mathematical, and predictive modelling techniques to develop innovative processes, services, and data products that drive supply chain efficiency. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions, including data marts, to power decision-making, operational excellence, and the seamless functioning of our end-to-end supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and predictive analysis to address complex supply chain challenges (e.g., demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, procurement, and production planning).

  • Champion the development and enhancement of data marts and analytical data products tailored to supply chain requirements, supporting self-service analytics and strategic reporting.

  • Collaborate closely with supply chain leaders, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business problems into robust analytics solutions and data products.

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data-driven initiatives: problem scoping, data collection, feature engineering, modelling, validation, deployment, and ongoing performance monitoring.

  • Partner with data engineering teams to design scalable, reliable pipelines and data architectures supporting advanced supply chain analytics.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of emerging analytics trends in supply chain management, advising the business on best practice adoption.

  • Communicate technical findings, business impact, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Mentor and develop junior data scientists and analysts within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

  • Uphold data governance, quality, and compliance standards, ensuring all solutions align with regulatory and privacy requirements.

About you

  • Bachelor’s in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or analytics roles, preferably within a global supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning, applied to real-world supply chain problems.

  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages, as well as BQ and SQL for large-scale data manipulation and analysis.

  • Strong experience with building and maintaining data marts, data warehouse solutions, and developing production-grade data products.

  • Solid understanding and application of supply chain concepts, processes, and KPIs, including demand/supply planning and optimization.

  • Proven project leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver cross-functional analytics solutions on time and within scope.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of making complex analytics accessible to diverse audiences.

  • Experience with cloud analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and CI/CD for analytics workflows are highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy requirements relevant to global supply chain operations.
