Our Finance team manages and balances complex budgets across our global business. Multiple regions, multiple categories and covering all aspects of the finance cycle.

About the role

As our Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll report to the Head of Finance and play a critical role in driving growth across Dyson’s direct and indirect channels. These include Dyson.fr, indirect retail stores, marketplaces, Dyson Customer Services, and our expanding physical retail estate — all focused on delivering an exceptional owner experience.

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership in both the market and region. You’ll partner closely with key members of the channel sales team to shape growth strategies, track performance through insightful analysis, support investment decisions with robust ROI modelling, and ensure profitable growth within the market.

Beyond your market-specific responsibilities, you’ll also collaborate regionally to share best practices and contribute to finance transformation projects alongside Group and regional teams.

Key accountabilities:

  • Partner with the local leadership team to plan resources, infrastructure needs, and align them with Dyson’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on commercial planning to forecast channel performance, quantify risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver objective financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve channel profitability, monitoring efficiency KPIs and optimising cost-to-serve while providing insights on promotional effectiveness.
  • Support and train teams to elevate financial capability, contributing to market-wide financial proficiency.
  • Establish and maintain promotional governance processes, ensuring pricing corridors for key events.

About you

We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable Commercial Finance Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment. To succeed, you’ll need:

  • Confidence in presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and compelling way.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions that can confidently guide decisions.
  • Proven financial planning expertise, balancing short-term objectives with long-term strategic vision.
  • A willingness to challenge established ways of working, driving innovative solutions to achieve financial goals.
  • Assertiveness and decisiveness to push plans forward while remaining flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Fluency in French and English (minimum B2 level).
