About the role
The Concession manager is responsible for leading and supervising the performance and operations of the most strategic Dyson beauty locations across 6 de Bijenkorf stores in the Netherlands. The role is to drive in-store sales volume, grow sales revenue and deliver gross margin through managing, coaching, and motivating the teams of stylists.
In addition, your role is to ensure the strategic and tactical direction of in-store plans are adhered to and exceptional execution is delivered. You will be in a front raw of our reputation building and delivering top-notch consumer experience at the concession partner de Bijenkorf.
Responsibilities:
Sales strategy Implementation
Contribute to and implement strategic plans that optimize retail opportunities, sales out volumes and revenue growth in close contact with account manager
Implementing with the sales reps (stylists) all elements of the sales funnel: consumer interactions, high quality product demonstrations, sales execution. Constant monitoring and supervision to ensure top execution.
Bringing sales initiatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
Driving Stores performance
Weekly delivering sales (sell out) numbers at all de Bijenkorf doors and presenting them to the wider organization.
Weekly assessing stores performance metrics (sales vs targets) identifying areas for improvement and implementing correcting measures.
Weekly analyzing people performance metrics to identify strong achievers and bringing the rest to the expected levels (via individual discussions, roles – plays, trainings, coaching)
Customer Experience
Delivering highest standards of customer experience across all locations at any time
Aligning with retail activation team on instore executions, fixture updates and maintenance
Leading initiatives, implementing control mechanics, and performing constant trainings, coaching to ensure top consumer experience.
Tracking and implementing initiatives to improve consumers satisfaction.
Team Leadership
Creation and fostering of strong concession stylists’ community vs very high customer experience and sales targets.
Achieving team performance through people leadership, coaching, and developing, being in regular one to one communication with the field team
Performing weekly visits to all locations to ensure strong partnership with all stylists.
Carrying out ongoing capability assessment to ensure your team are experts in Dyson products and sales technics. Work closely with training manager to deliver best in class development programs.
Recruiting, training, and providing constant guidance for the team development
Operations
Creating weekly rotation schedules per store and ensuring optimal staffing coverage
Acting as point of contact for the stores staff on all operational topics, promotions, stock, POS, etc.
Weekly check accuracy of staff registrations and discipline (shift check-in / check – out, registration of interactions, demos, sales)
Implementing and executing on quarterly stores audit
Monitoring and managing inventory levels, weekly stock ordering management
About you
- Experience as Store Manager/Area Manager/Concession Manager
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
