About the role
As a Concession Manager, you will oversee Dyson's strategic beauty locations across 6 de Bijenkorf stores in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for leading a team of stylists to drive sales volume, increase revenue, and deliver exceptional in-store experiences. By managing the tactical execution of in-store initiatives, you will ensure that Dyson’s beauty products are represented with excellence, driving both brand advocacy and consumer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:
- Contribute to and implement sales strategies to optimize retail opportunities. Ensure your team of stylists delivers high-quality product demonstrations that convert consumer interactions into sales. Regularly monitor sales performance to meet and exceed targets.
- Analyze weekly sell-out data and assess performance metrics for each store. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to achieve sales targets. Report weekly on the performance of each location to key stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives that ensure the highest standards of customer experience across all de Bijenkorf stores. Collaborate with the retail activation team to ensure fixtures are updated and well-maintained. Provide regular training and coaching to the team to consistently elevate customer satisfaction.
- Foster a high-performing team of stylists by providing ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities. Conduct weekly visits to all stores to ensure your team is meeting sales targets and delivering excellent consumer experiences. Work closely with the training manager to implement best-in-class development programs.
- Ensure optimal staffing coverage through the creation and management of weekly rotation schedules. Act as the point of contact for operational matters including promotions, stock management, and point of sale (POS) materials. Conduct quarterly store audits to maintain operational excellence.
About you
- Proven experience in retail management, with a focus on driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal teams and external retail partners.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, with experience in managing multiple stores and teams.
- Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting sales data and making informed decisions to improve performance.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English
One year fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal to a permanent position.
