The ambition for EMEA region is huge. As the regional Key Account Manager channel you will play an important role in  delivering the strategy for growth in the region via ensuring we have winning plans day in day in our Ecommerce Accounts

About the role.

At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do. Your role will make sure that owners are getting fantastic experience, every day on our Ecommerce Accounts.

You’ll work with teams to ensure our commercial plans are performing and that we have all the right levers in place to achieve stretching targets on your categories. This will include close collaboration with category teams, supply chain, finance, marketing and merchandising.

Ultimately this role is ideal for a sales manager looking to take their next step on a stretching and challenging learning curve carving out a new way forward for Dyson. It will require creativity, problem solving, resilience and networking to do so. 

About you.

Dyson is a fast paced and agile company. The below is an example of your main accountabilities but is not a complete list - what matters to us, is relevant experience alongside innovative thinking and a drive to deliver across e-commerce EMEA markets.

Accountabilities:

  • P&L Delivery for your category and business in your accounts. Deliver plans & strategies and plans to hit our monthly, quarterly and annual commercial targets though our EMEA marketplaces on Beauty.
  • Owner Experience: Ensure owners are getting a fantastic experience every day on our marketplaces platform, that content is optimised to the right stage in the journey and executed in line with our SD criteria. 
  • Budget: Ensure your  budgets are invested optimally, always looking at incrementality and ROAS. This includes both i) investment into onsite media ii) agreed co marketing events with partners
  • Work closely with local teams on the development and delivery of local trade plans, implementing these on our central marketplaces accounts. You’ll ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead key event planning for your marketplace partners. This will require significant cross functional management.
  • Agency management: Work with our external agency partners who support operations and execution on your accounts, ensuring we are driving the right performance and getting the best results together.
  • Account analysis and reporting: Be the voice of the account performance through formalised reporting ,sharing insights with senior managers
  • Business planning and forecasting: Plan and forecast for your channels and accounts. 
  • Hand on Account Support: Flow to work on the account, flex priorities and resource and from time to time support the merchandising team in setting up specific sku’s and plans in the marketplaces partners systems. 
  • External networking and partner: Build collaborative, value adding and strategic partnerships with our external marketplaces partners, seek to understand their business in depth to unlock new value adding opportunity. 
  • Play a managing role in the regional EMEA Ecommerce team, working closely with partners, taking on responsibilities to delvier regional targets and plans

Skills and Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, hands on experience in managing Ecommerce retailers and pure players
  • Must have hands on experience with core account management and planning competencies- forecasting, promo planning, budget management and merchandising. 
  • Must have experience in negotiation and managing external commercial relationships
  • Must have experience in effectively managing a matrixed structure. 
  • Energised by commercial challenges and driving performance.
  • A positive attitude and bias for action, looks for solutions and creative ways of achieving goals despite set backs. 
  • Previous experience working with global and regional structure in a brand with detailed creative guidelines is beneficial. 
  • Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical issues in a simple laymen’s terminology. 
  • Keen eye for detail particularly within a digital setting
  • Low ego, happy to flow to work in times of need seemlessy moving from highly strategic concepts to operational projects.
  • Fluent in English, an additional EMEA language is beneficial
