About the role
In this role, based in Singapore, you will report to the Global Internal Communications Director, in a team that defines how we communicate and engage with our employees across the world. You will be joining at a pivotal time as we look to refocus and grow our internal communications agenda, initiatives and integration with the business and leadership.
As Engagement and Events Senior Manager/Manager, you will help to manage Dyson’s internal engagement agenda for our employees around the world. You will work with the Global Internal Communications Director to develop a plan that energises and excites our people and connects them to our senior leaders, to what’s going on around the company and brings our strategy and employee experience to life. You are a creative thinker and organised doer, strong on project management, problem solving, managing moving deadlines and comfortable and confident in dealing with senior leaders. You will set standards and best practice for how we manage engagement initiatives and events.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Global Internal Communications Director to develop, drive and execute a global employee engagement and events strategy.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of memorable internal events and engagement opportunities (e.g., town halls, leadership forums, senior leadership conferences, CEO engagement initiatives, celebrations etc) for Dyson offices worldwide.
- Create and deliver innovative engagement programmes that connect employees to Dyson’s mission, vision and strategy.
- Support senior business leaders in building authentic connections with employees.
- Set and maintain standards of excellence and best practice for planning, executing, and evaluating employee engagement activities and events.
- Oversee project management for multiple, concurrent events and initiatives, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate across functions, business units, and geographies to align engagement activities to business priorities and ensure a consistent employee experience.
- Monitor engagement metrics and feedback to continually improve impact and success of engagement initiatives.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, agencies, and venue partners as needed.
- Anticipate potential risks and challenges in project delivery and proactively develop solutions.
About you
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in an internal or employee communications or relevant events role, ideally in a global business.
- Proven track record designing and delivering events and engagement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to influence and partner at all levels, including C-suite.
- Strong project management and vendor management skills, and experience manageable large-scale events.
- Proven track record dealing with short deadlines and working in high pressure situations to drive outcomes in the best interest of the company.
An understanding of running hybrid events and the need to engage remote audiences as well as those in the room. - A sound understanding of the technology solutions, systems and tools needed to run events smoothly and professionally.

- Willingness and ability to travel internationally where required.
