About Us
The Finance Manager – partners with the Global Supply Chain Fulfilment teams to support analysis and implementation of new programmes.
This includes generating the cost & benefit analysis of RFQ from Service Providers (LSP).
From time to time, the incumbent will also work on ad hoc analysis and projects to provided insightful analysis for decision-making by the senior management function in Dyson
The role has good exposure to the Dyson Global Supply Chain Functions and allows the incumbent a great opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of Dyson Operations Business.
The role reports into the Head of Supply Chain Finance.
Accountabilities
- Participate in vendor selection process in RFQ to achieve cost optimization.
- Generate the Cost & Benefit analysis for each RFQ exercise.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Finance Manager on the proposal of LSP selections from finance perspectives.
- Benchmark analysis vs. external competitors to identify opportunity areas
- Prepare ad hoc analysis to support new and existing initiatives.
- Key finance POC to work directly with Supply Chain Procurement and Operations teams on all Logistics & Fulfilment rates related initiatives and discussions.
- Trusted business partner to Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams. Influence a wide variety of cross functional and senior stakeholders.
- Review of key processes to drive process improvements.
Skills
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent post graduate qualification.
- At least 7 to 8 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in project management and/or supply chain is a plus
- Excellent analytical ability and Excel spreadsheet skills
- Ability to understand concepts and ideas quickly and model data in meaningful ways
- Proactive in proposing ideas to challenge status quo
- Assertive and able to influence upwards and across functions
- Good spoken & written English
- Has strong sense of operational discipline and ability to meet deadlines
