About the role

The Global Social Media Manager will own and execute the Global Dyson Social Media Strategy and editorial plan and work closely with all key stakeholders across the business, including Business Units, Regions and Markets, Commercial, Comms, Creative and external partners. 

They are the gatekeepers of what good Social media means to Dyson and will advise on best practice, guidance and strategy across all Dyson social channels. They will also own the operations of social media, including account set up, access and support people across the business with Social media questions and problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Upload all group created assets to Sprinklr (campaigns and speedy) Publish all global channel content via Sprinklr (Instagram , YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest) 

  • Set up campaign product names within Sprinklr when needed Reporting and insight Raise issues and ask for support directly with the Sprinklr Managed service team

  • Populate and send the 2-week global social media calendar

  • Populate and send the monthly social media calendar Social strategy and best practice (NPD/campaign focus) 

  • Monitoring social media accounts and sharing content/ flagging anything 

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business including Business Units, Comms, Corporate and Markets to populate the global social calendar and to inform stray.

  • Work closely with different parts of the business that need access to Dyson social account - e.g. GCP integration to Meta Support markets what have issues accessing local accounts by raising Meta support tickets

  • Work closely with the regions and markets to share social media guidance and best practices

  • Delivery of all owned social media content to the regions and markets via the Global Social Media Community 

  • Work closely with our social platform partner to keep up-to-date the the latest updates

  • Onboard the Global community management agency to support them with guidance and set up to carry out community management effectively

  • Upload content to Dyson YouTube Channel from all parts of the business 

  • Set up and optimise geotagging, giving access to people across Dyson Optimising the channel, including SEO optimisation. 

  • Playlist creation and channel appearance Be the key contact for Little Dot Studios, our YouTube partner

  • Publish content to all global Instagram accounts, @dyson, @dysonbeauty, @dysonwear, @dysonhairpro 

  • Monitor tags and mentions on each account and share relevant content to IG stories 

  • Monitor comments and flag anything that needs replying to with the Global Social Care Manager

  • Set up new local Dyson Instagram accounts on behalf of the markets Accepting paid IG partnership requests on the global accounts, requested from the markets

  • Publish LinkedIn content that has been approved by the LinkedIn Editorial Team 

About you:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing global social media strategies across multiple platforms for a large-scale organization or brand. Hands-on experience managing tools such as Sprinklr, Meta Business Manager, and YouTube Creator Studio, with a strong understanding of platform-specific content optimization.

  • Expertise in creating and managing editorial calendars, social media plans, and content workflows across teams and markets.

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to measure social media performance, interpret insights, and improve strategies accordingly.

  • Skilled in working with cross-functional teams, including markets, regions, commercial, communications, corporate teams, and external partners.

  • Experience in maintaining operations like account setup/access, raising Meta support tickets, password management, and platform integrations.

  • Ability to share guidance, onboard agencies, and implement scalable best practices for social media community management across global markets.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners, ensuring consistent execution of campaign strategies and social media operations.
