About us
PH Operation team works with and is assigned to various Dyson Contract Manufacturers (CMs). The team’s primary role and objective are to ensure that all PH CMs fully adhere to Dyson’s practices and standards. They also ensure that production plans consistently correspond with committed delivery timelines, quantities and correct SKUs. Every unit processed and delivered to market must meet Dyson’s high quality standard.
To guarantee that Dyson products are handled and manufactured with high degree of efficiency, the team actively tracks and measure Key Performance Indices (KPI).The focus is on four main KPI categories: Build Adherence, SKU Adherence, CRD Adherence and Truck-out Adherence which help monitor and evaluate the performance of our CMs.
About the role
As an Intern who will be assigned to the operation’s team, you will have the chance to observe, learn and develop strong manufacturing knowledge and skills that will serve you well in your future career or endeavors. You will gain valuable experience in communicating and collaborating with individuals across different department and roles within both Dyson and its Contract Manufacturers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop analytical skills, decision-making abilities and technical expertise. Your training will include collecting and analysing production data as well as monitoring whether Contract Manufacturers (CMs) are meeting the KPIs set by Dyson. Additionally, your role will primarily focus on learning and developing your skills while assisting and supporting the team. You will also have opportunities to apply your knowledge and explore your potential, contributing ideas that may help improve CM operations’ productivity, all under the guidance of the team and in alignment with quality standards and procedures.
On a daily basis, intern will be encouraged to participate in the daily and weekly meetings with CM and Dyson cross functional team. This will help accelerate and sharpen the intern’s knowledge, skills and mind set towards Dyson culture and working environment.
New Product Development (NPD)
NPD is the one leading the introduction of new product likewise initiate the first run/build until stabilization and all the stipulated specification or criterion had been satisfied.
Operations
Operation Team is responsible in maintaining or the sustenance/nourishment for every project that was endorse by NPD. It is also under our jurisdiction to assure that the plan deliverables are achieving the set KPI’s and On Time and In Full.
About you
The operations team is looking for an intern who is eager to learn and gain insights into Dyson’s way of working while supporting efforts to maintain and build a strong manufacturing foundation under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics Communication Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrate keen interest in problem solving, supervision, planning, process improvements and showcasing strong analytical skills.
Shows interest to lead and communicate with the CM’s Operations and Engineering team.
Suggest and contribute ideas for improvement as part of the training experience.
Support the implementation of good manufacturing practices in Finished Goods (FG) assembly, Standalone (SnA) deliverables and projects (new SKU’s, Colourway and product improvement projects).
Preferred familiarity or experience in data organization and visual data representation through Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Display flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges or tasks that assigned by the mentor.
Capable in supporting and assisting the Operations team in leading and implementing manufacturing processes in the CMs that are in level with Dyson Standards.
Please note that these roles are for full-time onsite internship in Calamba, Laguna, from May to August 2025.
