Our Global Supply Chain team works across Dyson, supporting our Research Design and Development (RDD) and our business Categories. Whichever part of our business you’re supporting, you’ll be playing a vital role in strategic decision making, affecting the design of our machines and the growth ambitions of the business.

About the role

The role of the Global Supply Chain Intern is responsible for facilitation of wider China Operations and Supply Chain cross functional team activities.

Very close interaction with team members of Dyson Operations and Supply Chain teams and external manufacturers/suppliers is paramount to the success of the role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate Operations Managers to manage end-to-end Capital Expenditure

  • Manage end to end SAP Ariba PO/PR/GR process for Operations team

  • Assist procurement functions on operational tasks of supplier onboarding and RFx engagement, cost management.  

  • Consolidate of monthly reporting and data sharing

  • Responsible for price master data update, template development and system upgrade.

  • Responsible for JDM dashboard management

  • Facilitate in supply chain intelligence study, and reporting

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

About you

  • Strong communication skills in English written/verbally

  • Proficiency in MS word, MS excel and MS outlook a must

  • Experience in manufacturing and supply chain will be an added advantage but not mandatory

  • Project/Program Management experience is desirable

  • Self-motivated, independent, result-driven, ability to deliver under pressure and in tight timelines

  • Team player with a strong level of commitment to deliverables.

  • Drive problem solving and identify improvement opportunities to optimize delivery of tasks assigned

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment, being resilient and able to handle pressure
