About the role:  

The Junior Category Manager Beauty will report into the Beauty Category Lead for CEE (Central Eastern European Markets), ensure the business delivers against the long-term brand vision, whilst delivering on the short-term commercials, you will not be afraid to challenge others and trial new initiatives to strengthen and grow our beauty business.  

On top of supporting the Category Lead, this role will also be responsible for bringing potential new sub-categories (under the Beauty umbrella) on the market, leading end-to-end GTM strategy for the new products.  

 

Accountabilities: 

  • Support to analyze customer data and shopper insight to establish new opportunities within the market and drive category growth. 
  • Lead the launch of potential new sub-categories in CEE markets. Independently lead the launch, GTM strategy, Distribution strategy, forecasting, and allocation of marketing investments for the new products.  
  • Conduct competitor and market data analysis, including Go To Market competitor strategies, analysis of product performance claims and media strategies to develop counter strategies.  
  • Be the local market advocate for the category, champion the value and commercial potential to internal teams and the wider Dyson business. Support the Category Lead to ensure we deliver profit and brand equity in Haircare. 
  • Be the Lead on specific business-critical projects such as NPDs launches, gifting period campaigns etc. 
  • Translate Global campaign plans into local market plans: brief in assets to be adapted and translated into local languages.  
  • Executing 360 campaign plan per stream (PR-Influence, media-digital-social, Direct, retail, instore/online, events, CRM, owner experience, reviews etc.). 
  • Support to coordinate the different work streams needed with appropriate stakeholders (internal/external).  
  • Budget Management 
  • On-going campaign reporting, performance analysis (SI/SO) and KPI measurement.  
  • Develop a strong understanding of the market’s customer opportunity. 
  • Analyse in-life product and campaign performance with implications for growth strategies. 
  • Proactively participate in Joint Business Planning to agree on annual plans and communication with involvement in planning, sell-ins, and marketing initiatives 

About you: 

  • Ideally 3-5 years experience in brand management in the beauty/SDA sector.  
  • Experience in launching new products on the market, leading GTM strategy independently.  
  • Passion for beauty and deep knowledge of market trends, knowledge of the Eastern European markets is a plus.  
  • Proven ability to juggle a large workload, set appropriate priorities and someone who is focused on delivering to plan. You are able to deal with the fast-changing pace of the business. 
  • You are a problem solver, have strong organizational skills and a hands-on mentality. You are target-oriented and proactive. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Team player who is passionate and flexible  
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Ability to build relationships across functions and with multiple stakeholders 
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
