The Digital Tracking team is at the forefront of leveraging data and technology to innovate and enhance user experiences across the company's digital landscape. Tasked with the collection of digital data through industry-leading analytics tools and Tag Management Systems, the team plays a pivotal role in informing core business strategies and decisions. Beyond development, the team also provides operational support to business users, utilizing a ticket-based system and email for efficient resolution of queries and issues. 

 

Emphasizing a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, the team works closely together to solve complex problems and drive technological advancements. Their collective efforts are crucial in maintaining Dyson's reputation for cutting-edge digital initiatives and in shaping the company's future in the digital domain. 

 

As a Junior Frontend QA Engineer, you will inspect and validate Adobe Analytics traffic across various platforms on eCommerce websites. Must have Adobe Analytics QA experience; ideally will have Adobe Analytics Workspace and Adobe Launch experience. Working with experienced consultants and frontend developers, you will provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, analyse processes, and propose improvements. Stay updated on digital trends and technologies to keep our analytics capabilities cutting-edge. 

 

The QA Engineer will have demonstrable experience of: 

  • Inspecting/validating Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics traffic on various device-OS-browser combinations 

  • Adobe Analytics eCommerce concepts  

  • Google Analytics and GA3 concepts 

  • Basic JavaScript 

  • Web Developer Tools 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Develop the QA & automation practices and strategies for our software development teams 

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.  

  • Write tools and libraries which can be used by other QA/DevOps engineers 

  • In collaboration with the agile teams set the guidelines and requirements on the test practices in the development process 

  • Building a path for successful cooperation between testers of different levels 

  • Controlling and managing difficulties that arise in different projects during testing related activities. 

  • Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and analyse processes to propose strategic improvements that enhance our analytics capabilities. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies to keep our analytics tools at the forefront of the industry. 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

  • Strong exposure with test frameworks  

  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. 

  • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.  

  • Coding experience with automation framework, tools and services for web. 

  • Experience in API testing.  

  • Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes.  

  • Some experience with Adobe Analytics tools, particularly Adobe Launch and Adobe Web Analytics, is preferred but not required. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively interpret data and drive strategic improvements. 

  • Excellent communication abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences. 

  • A motivated and proactive learner, eager to stay updated on the latest digital trends and technologies and apply that knowledge to our analytics capabilities.
