About the role
As our KAM, you will:
- Develop strategic annual account plans to drive profit, growth, and execution in major retail accounts.
- Deliver sales and gross margin targets in alignment with budgetary requirements.
- Manage the promotional planning cycle and budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Ensure high standards of execution for the Dyson brand both online and in stores.
- Maximize shopper and consumer understanding through effective category management and data analysis.
- Drive ecommerce performance on retailer websites, focusing on traffic, conversion, AOV, and sales.
- Construct compelling joint business plans and customer proposals.
- Hold regular face-to-face meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews with retailer commercial teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to drive agreed customer initiatives and align organizational goals.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver results and maintain effective relationships.
About you
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
- Account management experience, preferably in high-profile accounts, for at least four years.
- Proficiency in negotiation, budget control, and forecasting across multiple product lines.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
- Relationship building and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
- Team-player with drive, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
