About the Role
We are looking for a highly operational and strategic leader to fill the position of Logistics Operations Manager. This role oversees the end-to-end logistics for Australia and New Zealand and requires a manager who can excel at growing and managing a team and driving continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Manage logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation with 3PL, to fulfill B2B and B2C demand
Guide the team in handling order fulfillment, sales order processing, and operational exceptions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Work with 3PL partners to optimize logistics capacity, especially during peak and promotional periods
Maintain and enhance logistics SOPs to ensure compliance, efficiency, and seamless operations with 3PL partners
Oversee returns, review return policies, and assess risks and opportunities for efficiency, compliance, and brand protection
Supervise quality reworks, packaging replacements, late configuration, and bundling to maintain product integrity
Lead projects to improve operational reliability, stability, and the overall e-commerce delivery experience
Own logistics spending, drive cost-saving initiatives, and achieve annual efficiency targets
Collaborate with regional teams on RFQs and contracts for logistics service providers
Own logistics systems, adopting new technologies to improve efficiency and visibility
Ensure robust inventory management, investigate root causes of discrepancies, and implement continuous improvement measures
Foster strong collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and customs authorities to align logistics with business needs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring your strong cross functional team skills and ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines. You are results oriented, process driven with solid analytical skills.
Previous skills & experience:-
Solid experience in People Management, Supply Chain or Logistics Management
Logistics experience in an eCommerce field or FMCG industry is advantageous
Experience of LEAN logistics management, project management is preferred
Good knowledge of logistics systems, e.g. WMS, SAP is a plus
