The purpose of this role is to manage business transformation initiatives to ensure timely delivery and seamless transitions. This role involves coordinating and driving transformation initiatives to completion and managing the associated risks and budgets. The role includes developing and overseeing strategies to manage change, such as employee engagement and communication strategies, and fostering collaboration across Global Facilities, its business partners and the supply chain to achieve business objectives effectively. This role will serve as the overall Program/Project Manager to deliver the above strategies, including (but not only) the Integrated Facilities Management program particularly on the Change Management aspects.
Responsibilities
Provide transformation management:
- Support the development of a transformation and change management approach for DGF
- Manage a program of change initiatives from identification, prioritization, coordination and delivery, ensuring they meet broader business requirements, priorities and budget.
- Ensure effective risk management methods are implemented and manage communication of changes to stakeholders, mitigating adverse delivery impacts and risks of service interruption.
- Identify change management needs during periods of transformation and work to implement the change management methods and techniques
- Deliver impact assessments
- Manage budgets related to change initiatives
- Track the realization of benefits and value created through the procurement of the new service provider, and other future transformation activity
- Manage the Dyson best-in-class program. This entails training and coaching employees to drive adoption of the program.
Oversee and ensure successful transformation including, but not limited to, mobilization:
- Act as program/project manager to lead and manage the mobilization of new service providers, developing mobilization plans for each service
- Review contract documentation to understand all key outputs to any mobilization and make sure they are incorporated into plans
- Govern and oversee the delivery of the plan, developing status reports to track and report progress to leadership on a regular basis
- Assess groups, areas or activities within the contract mobilization period that require additional support and develop initiatives to support during this time period
- Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilization actions are completed in the agreed timeframes
- Be responsible for identifying and managing any transition related risks and report to ensure any mobilization risks are managed and resolved
- Proactively demonstrate and support a ‘one team’ culture with DGF and the supply chain
- Support building the supplier relationship to ensure and assess cultural integration over time
Coordinate employee engagement and communications:
- Develop an approach for employee engagement and communications within DGF
- Liaise with the Group communications function to align on principles and processes
- Recognize when employee engagement and communications are needed and develop the initiatives/engagement plans/communications to be rolled out
Maintain stakeholder relationships:
- Build and maintain positive relationships across DGF, internally and externally (partners, customers and group-wide)
- Manage relationships with new service providers, providing support in negotiations
