About the role

As our Key Account Manager, you will act as the brand’s first line of defence. You will go far beyond the numbers—serving as an agile, solutions-oriented champion who drives profit, growth, and flawless Dyson execution across major retail partners. You will own your accounts end-to-end, combining big-picture vision with dynamic, hands-on action.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering bold annual account plans that align Dyson’s ambitions with those of our retail partners—always keeping the end-consumer experience as your North Star.
  • Taking charge of sales and margin targets, using your forecasting skills and promotional insight to outsmart and outperform the competition.
  • Upholding Dyson’s selective distribution principles, ensuring our premium positioning shines through every channel—online and offline.
  • Setting the bar for in-store and digital excellence by collaborating with retail activation, media, and category teams to maximize impact and ROI.
  • Building and nurturing credible partnerships, tailoring impactful business reviews and proposals for senior retail stakeholders.
  • Spotting opportunities, tackling obstacles, and pivoting with confidence in a fast-changing market—always championing Dyson’s reputation.

 

About you

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • A natural problem-solving approach, with a strong sense of ownership and the agility to adapt.
  • Sharp commercial acumen, being results-obsessed and driven to improve every day.
  • A proven record of exceeding sales targets and managing high-profile accounts in retail or consumer electronics.
  • Expertise in building relationships, negotiating win-win deals, and leading initiatives from idea to execution.
  • An inquisitive and analytical mindset—quick to uncover trends, risks, and possibilities in complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence at all levels and inspire action.
  • Self-motivation, a positive outlook, and resilience in fast-paced, matrix environments.
  • Fluency in English.
