About the role
As our Retail Activation Executive, you will play a pivotal part in bringing Dyson’s retail vision to life. Supporting the Senior Retail Activation Manager, you’ll help design and execute both direct and indirect activity plans that elevate our brand’s in-store presence. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating exciting New Product Development (NPD) launches and impactful retail campaigns, working closely with teams across marketing, category management, and merchandising to ensure every initiative meets Dyson’s high standards.
You’ll oversee the maintenance and visual excellence of our in-store fixtures and displays, making sure every customer’s experience reflects Dyson’s premium image. Careful management of budgets and a sharp focus on driving cost-effective execution will be key, as you monitor the effectiveness of all campaigns and ensure a strong return on investment. Collaboration lies at the heart of this role, and you will work closely with key stakeholders—Category Managers, Account Managers, Demo Store Managers, and field teams—to synchronize plans and maximize retail performance.
Your keen eye for process improvements will help us continuously enhance our retail activation efforts, while your involvement in special projects will see you championing best practice and Dyson’s values. By tracking competitor activity and analyzing market data from sources like GFK, you’ll provide valuable insights that inform and sharpen our sales and marketing strategies, helping keep Dyson at the forefront of innovation and retail excellence.
About you
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in trade marketing, retail activation, marketing or event management.
- Demonstrated strength in planning, project management, and analysis.
- Experience collaborating with external agencies and suppliers.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with strong assertiveness and drive for results.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of performing well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; fluency in Dutch is an advantage.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed.
