About the role
As a Retail Activation Manager, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with selective distribution criteria in-store and online
Managing installations and merchandising: Overseeing the deployment of store installations, including Point-Of-Sale (POS) advertising and material support. Ensuring all Dyson and distributor points of sale adhere to merchandising guidelines.
Managing the merchandising agency /suppliers for installation and building of NPDs roll-out and direct new store locations
Improving customer experience in-store : Developing and implementing plans to enhance the customer experience and ensuring consistency across channels.
Executing the point-of-sale activation strategy: Implementing product campaigns, new product developments (NPD) launches, and in-store commercial activations in line with Dyson principles.
Drive and lead direct store expansion and strategy : understand sales environment and provide recommendation on new store implementation based on sales analytics. Follow-up with all stakeholders on building/production/installation/inauguration of new doors opening.
Organizing events: To enhance brand visibility and increase customer and consumer engagement.
Measuring performance: Defining and tracking key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and ROI of offline campaigns. Analyzing sales data, promotional share, and highlighting measures to provide actionable insights.
Monitoring the market and analyzing the competition: Tracking market trends and identifying potential competitive threats. Supporting strategies to maintain Dyson’s leadership and growth in the market.
Collaboration and support: Acting as a liaison between field teams, store managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth daily activities.
Project management: Leading projects and ad-hoc initiatives aimed at improving sales activation at the point of sale and customer engagement.
Budget management: Managing budgets allocated to in-store and online activation activities, ensuring effective allocation and tracking of expenditures.
Creating synergies between countries within the cluster (data analysis, roadmap roll-out) to improve efficiency and optimize resources.
Gathering and sharing best practices with other countries in the cluster.
About You
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
At least five years of experience in point-of-sale activation, field marketing, or related roles.
A Master’s degree in Marketing or Sales.
Ability to proactively identify challenges and propose solutions.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines, with high rigor.
Assertive, independent, and results-oriented mindset.
Excellent teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis to extract actionable insights.
Ability to effectively present ideas, projects, and results.
High level of accuracy in execution and adherence to guidelines.
Strong organizational skills to coordinate projects and manage resources efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Fluency in Spanish and English is essential (minimum B2 level), Portuguese is a plus.
