About The Role

Are you ready to take your design skills to the next level, crafting visuals that connect with customers at every touchpoint? As part of Dyson’s creative team, you’ll create work that sparks connection and drives impact—stretching across physical spaces, digital platforms, and global campaigns.    

 

Your designs will help Dyson show up powerfully wherever our customers engage with us, immersive retail experiences linked with impactful online storytelling. Working closely with upstream product creation teams and multidisciplinary collaborators, you’ll dive deep into Dyson’s technology to understand how it solves problems, then visually communicate those solutions to the world in ways that are both fresh and unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities: 


As a 2D Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in Dyson’s creative process. Here’s what you’ll own and contribute:    

  • Visual Storytelling:  Create thoughtful, impactful designs for retail spaces, digital executions and campaign assets, —including store signage, promotional graphics, wayfinding systems, and online visuals that are as visually stunning as they are functional.   

  • Collaborative Design:  Partner with upstream product creation teams, 3D retail designers, marketers, and digital content teams to craft visuals that turn Dyson’s innovation into clear, compelling stories for customers.   

  • Customer-Centric Design:  Develop work that enhances the shopper journey and captures customer attention—whether they're navigating a store, engaging online, or interacting with Dyson’s brand in new and exciting ways.   

  • Executional Precision:  Manage projects from concept to production, balancing creative ambition with technical specifications like sizing, colour profiles, and print requirements to ensure flawless execution.   

  • Trend Awareness:  Stay ahead of industry trends in design, consumer behaviour, and technology to deliver fresh, engaging work that keeps Dyson at the forefront of creative innovation. 

 

 

Who You Are: 


You’re someone who believes design is about connecting ideas with emotions and who thrives when working collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Here are the qualities and skills you bring:    

  • Experience:  You have 3–5 years of experience in graphic, UI, branding, experiential, or communication design. Your work demonstrates an ability to craft strategic and visually compelling solutions across diverse projects.   

  • Creative Versatility:  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is your baseline, and experience with 3D design tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD) or UI design is a plus—but not required.   

  • Portfolio of Excellence:  Your portfolio showcases powerful design that strikes a balance between creativity and strategic intent. Bonus points for work that spans different types of media or channels.   

  • Empathy for Customers:  You understand how design affects behaviour—using layout, colour, typography, and hierarchy to clearly communicate value and make information resonate.   

  • Collaborative Nature:  You’re an enthusiastic team player who values feedback and loves working on cross-disciplinary teams to create cohesive solutions that elevate the end result.   

  • Problem-Solver:  You’re adaptable, resourceful, and solution-oriented, able to tackle challenges with inventiveness while delivering work on deadline and to standard.
