About the role:
- Maintain operations excellence strategy across market and operational compliance including but not limited to, inventory managment (Receiving, counting, stock transfer, return etc), risk management, audit, physical security, health & safety etc.
- Business development: New openings, renovations, IT & payment system projects, banking campaigns & activations.
- Create and define operational processes for the market; build and streamline the library of guidelines, programs.
- Inculcate a process driven culture aiming to make all stores compliant with standards like PCI DSS and conduct internal audits, business continuity plans and H&S risk assessments.
- Implement services compliantly that optimise the shopper experience, engagement and conversion.
- Play a key role in developing new services that optimise the shopper experience, engagement and conversion e.g. personalisation, home delivery.
- Build best in class data tracking, reporting and governance with key metrics/KPI's for all sales, experience and staffing initiatives.
- Orchestrate with stakeholders to build an overview of all in-store supports to market and support the market with the rollout of new store collateral and tools. Engage with Retail Activations, Retail Development, Training, Field Force and Finance teams.
- Drive efficiencies in the allocation of in-store resources, while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Follow-up weekly stock orders and replenishments
- Understand the competitive environment – what does best in class training and retail experience look like in the industry.
- Manage external & internal supplier relationships
- Optimize procurement costs and increase operational process so that market teams are offloaded
About you:
- Minimum 4-6 years of retail sales or retail operation experience
- Previous experience at direct retail companies
- Strong operational and commercial acumen with a close attention to details
- Strong analytical skills to guide operational decisions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Capability to be a hands-on type individual and demonstrating initiative
- Ability to be strategic, performance and results driven
- Building strong internal and external relationships with business stakeholders
- Proven organizational and negotiation skills
