The Dyson Risk and Audit team have a global remit for risk management, risk governance and internal audit. The team works with the business and functions to identify, assess, report and provide assurance on key risks and controls.
About the Role
Develop and own the Dyson Risk and Audit team data analytics strategy and implementation. The role needs to achieve a balance between fulfilling the current (near-term) data needs of the team, with providing a long-term vision and strategy to grow the capabilities of the team.
Data product management: Source for, implement and maintain internally or externally available data products and tools to fulfil the data needs of the team.
Risk analysis: support the Risk Managers with data analytics capabilities to identify, assess and monitor risks.
Integrated audits (project based): support the Audit teams with data analytics capabilities to enhance the rigour and robustness of audit projects.
Continuous risk and controls monitoring: develop data capabilities and tools (dashboards, alerts, etc.) to support the Risk and Audit teams with the ability to monitor risks and controls on an ongoing basis.
Support the Risk and Audit team (or other functions as required) in ad-hoc projects such as investigations, incident post-mortem reviews, etc.
Support the upskilling of the Risk and Audit team through internal trainings and advisory.

About you
Bachelor’s degree or master’s qualification.
10 to 12 years of experience in hands-on data analytics and visualisation, or business intelligence, preferably within a multi-national manufacturing and consumer product environment.
Demonstrable experience of partnering with business functions in a large matrix organisation on business decision-making, management and board reporting, projects, or risk management.
Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, etc. and data analytics and visualisation tools and products such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
A self-starter and problem-solver, able to drive their own initiatives whilst taking a hands-on, creative and collaborative approach to removing any blockers.
A strong communicator with experience being able to tell a story with data that drives actions and decisions.
Fluid and adaptable to take on ad-hoc responsibilities based on evolving business requirements.
