About the role
We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Business Process and Systems Analyst - Manufacturing to join our Global Supply Chain Processes and Systems team in delivering valuable insights and system enablement for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
As our Business Process and Systems Analyst, you are comfortable translating business requirements into solutions underpinned by analytics, processes and systems, where business intelligence plays an integral part in our business success. You are also passionate about manufacturing operations, with a keen eye for detail and modern tech stacks to achieve the right business outcomes.
The role will work with the business users and other stakeholders to define the global manufacturing process, intelligence and system capabilities i.e. manufacturing control tower, which deliver simplification and automation to achieve the expected business outcomes.
This role is part of the Global Supply Chain Processes and Systems team that drives business efficiency through standardised capabilities and best practices.
Being global role it is expected to be very autonomous in driving and delivering solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver fit-for-purpose manufacturing process definitions, mapping, systems, intelligence and insights ensuring quality in delivery i.e. contract manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs), material forecasts, BOM driven cost management initiatives.
Develop and promote best practices in Manufacturing processes, systems capabilities, data acquisition, information hierarchy and visualization techniques.
Curate playbooks, standardized framework, practice guides and other artefacts that will allow external contract manufacturers to provide data in a structured, standard manner for performance monitoring i.e. Contract Manufacturer onboarding, MES Control Tower production data input.
In keeping the lights on, the work will also require coding and scripting of Tableau to maintain the current business intelligence, visualisation tools supporting simplification and eliminating offline files and manual paperwork/files.
Execute the migration of the existing tools by utilising enterprise platforms/capabilities i.e. SAP, Google Cloud Platform
Identify improvement, simplification and automation opportunities on manufacturing process and systems as well as proposing solutions by actively engaging the Manufacturing teams.
About you
Tertiary education in supply chain management, information technology, or a related field.
Good understanding of manufacturing supply chain business processes, preferably in the electronic appliance environment.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Manufacturing processes and systems i.e. design-to-manufacture, contract manufacturing, bill of material (BOM) management with working knowledge in Manufacturing and other production management applications e.g. SAP
Experience in documenting, mapping of the business processes, understanding the process hierarchy for the manufacturing operating environment, including dependencies across processes and departments.
Experience in business intelligence and analytics tools, ideally using Tableau, Power BI and Google Cloud Platform.
Good hands-on experience and working knowledge in SQL.
Prior working experience in embedded visualization and mashups using Tableau configured with SSO, JWT and SAML authentication. Proficiency in API development is a plus.
Project delivery experience to estimate and breakdown work efforts, coupled with the know-how and the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks.
Strong detail-orientation and a keen eye for aesthetic design in storytelling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate optimal solutions.
