About us:

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations and more people. Dyson launched in the US in 2002, and since then operations have grown exponentially. Our US headquarters is based in Chicago's Fulton Market neighborhood. We also have employees working in field sales, our service centers, and in our growing number of Dyson Demo Store’s across the country.

We're committed to our campus culture and want to have people collaborating, developing, and learning from each other. By having everyone on campus together, we have been able to nurture a fantastic social and dynamic environment. As a senior manager, Sr Merchandising Manager is responsible for a team of eCommerce Merchandisers who support enablement of content across digital channels across various markets. This involves managing the resource across various work streams, lining up the team’s goals with the goals of the business, and providing input for the team’s career development.

Alongside updating the front-end content, the Merchandising Team is responsible for testing new features the our Dyson CMS systems before they are implemented, ensuring new features work as expected without affecting any of the current features.

About the role:

The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Lead and manage a team of eCommerce Merchandisers across Dyson’s multiple CMS platforms and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to ensure consistently high-quality output and an excellent stakeholder experience. This includes helping the team mitigate and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Develop your team, taking time to understand individual development needs and aligning them with broader team requirements and global business objectives.

  • Own the delivery of large, complex digital projects, including global and multi‑lingual market content, support, and training across a range of CMS platforms (primarily AEM, Magento, and Sitecore).

  • Ensure high-quality delivery across all digital experiences and content, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and strong attention to detail. Validate that all appropriate reviews and approvals are completed before content is released or published.

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for all supported platforms.

  • Report regularly to the Global Digital Delivery & Merchandising Director on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Support eCommerce Merchandisers in collaborating with the wider eCommerce and Revenue teams to test new CMS functionality, provide subject‑matter expertise, and guide operational rollout of content into production.

  • Ensure the team delivers robust testing and Business Validation Testing (BVT) to confirm new website functionality is fit for purpose prior to release.

  • Foster strong collaboration across markets in the US, Canada, and LATAM, as well as with Product Owners, Experience Delivery Managers, Global teams, Designers, Copywriters, and Commercial partners to uphold high standards of digital excellence.

  • Support the team in investigating, identifying, and resolving technical issues raised by the business.

  • Build strong, influential relationships at all levels of the organization, inspiring your team and partners to adopt effective ways of working and high‑quality behaviors.

  • Be proactive in improving processes and embedding digital transformation initiatives to drive team effectiveness and efficiency.

About you:

  • Strong eCommerce acumen

  • 5+ years’ experience working with CMS platforms, preferably including AEM, Hybris, Magento, or Sitecore

  • 2–3 years’ experience line‑managing an effective team

  • Experience working with and managing offshore teams

  • Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire a team

  • Strong planning, prioritization, and coordination skills

  • Resilience and composure when navigating issues, ensuring high‑quality outcomes

  • Strategic interest in digital transformation and organizational needs

  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage stakeholders with varying technical knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally the Atlassian suite

  • A collaborative team player and proactive self‑starter with strong communication skills at all levels
