We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to manage consolidation and reporting for the Global Overheads Group. This is a critical role that ensures accountability, accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of financial reporting while driving process improvements and automation leveraging tools and systems. This role will work closely with the functional finance team and stakeholders to streamline reporting, enhance analytics, and drive efficiency in forecasting, outlook, and close processes.
This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Global Overhead Finance Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Expert in management reporting and consolidation processes, including month-end closing, forecasting, and budget planning cycles for the Global Overheads functions.
- Drive monthly forecast roll-up for completeness and accuracy, and present to the Global Overhead Finance Director to address drivers of variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, communicate requirements and expectations, and collaborate with Group functions to ensure a smooth forecast process.
- Drive report standardization for the Global Overhead function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting packs to the senior leadership team, and work collaboratively with Group FP&A to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Business Partner for Global Overheads in understanding spend nature, risks, and opportunities against budget and outlook commitments, leading process design, implementation, and monitoring to enable the business to make better decisions to optimize business planning and performance.
- Partner with the Finance Business Partner to align on long-term financial planning and target setting, coordination, execution, and management of the financial close process.
- Present accurate and meaningful consolidated financial performance detailing variances to budget, forecast, and prior year to facilitate senior leader discussions.
- Complete standard and ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions based on current needs of Group Functions.
- Ability to understand and create value from data analytics to impact the business, clearly present and communicate analytics outcomes to help business decisions.
- Serve as a trusted finance partner for the Global Overheads team to design best practices and standardized KPI reporting.
- Partner with finance partners to improve operational efficiency and cross-functional ways of working.
- Support central initiatives and project implementations.
- Back up the Global Overhead Finance Manager.
Candidate eligibility:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FP&A with strong analytical experience and P&L ownership.
- BS/BA required; MBA/CPA a plus.
- Prior financial analysis and forecasting experience is necessary.
- Strong knowledge of modeling/forecasting, planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
- Experience with Onstream/SAP.
- Expert user in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ThinkCell.
- Knowledge in Power BI and Power Automate is an added advantage.
- Methodical, driver-based business planning capability.
- Previous experience managing multiple initiatives and priorities.
- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to understand and create value from data analytics to impact the business.
- Ability to clearly present and communicate complex data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Agile mindset with high adaptability to changes; a team player and willing to go the extra mile to support others.
