About the Role

  • This role is the local market expert for our SAP/Tableau POS database and is a critical support person across multiple functions for driving POS and Trade Stock insights and analysis across the entire Canadian Consumer business.

  • This role will support the National Accounts sales team in achieving sales and profit results through regular sales-out reporting, ongoing retail analysis and building customer and competitor intelligence

  • The role will support the overall blueprint and strategic direction of the business

  • Create, maintain and present weekly reporting and insights related to POS, trade stock and promotional activity to drive insights that support business decision-making

  • Utilizing data tools such as MS Excel and Tableau to mine vast amounts of data providing reporting, analysis, insights and comparative commentary on the key trends driving the business

  • Collaborate and support partners in sales, marketing, finance, and demand planning to support sales strategy, promotional insights and planning, forecasting, and assortment reviews

  • Overview and maintain weekly SAP POS upload process ensuring data integrity and accuracy

  • Manage Monthly Call model; refreshing daily sales data and leading weekly Team updates

  • Oversee special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

  • Support Major Accounts through customized reporting and hoc analysis

  • Develop market consumer and category insights driving actionable plans

  • Ariba contract set-up/invoicing and data maintenance

  • Forecast tool (Anaplan) administration and maintenance

  • Promo Mgmt (Vistex) supporting allocation of promo funding through reconciliation of spend vs projections

  • Consolidate Weekly Dyson and Competitor Flyer Activity providing insights on promo activity

  • Support Sales Team members with administrative aspects of Retailer relationships including, but not limited to: new line forms, allocation reviews, promotion templates, online briefs.

About you

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Retail Sales Analyst or Sales Coordinator role required

  • Experience working with a sales function preferred

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

  • Tableau, Vistex and Arriba experience an asset

  • Works well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where initiative, leadership and flexibility are drivers for success

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Is dynamic, energetic and results-driven with a sense of urgency

  • Plans and executes multiple projects with strong attention to timeliness, detail and accuracy

  • Successfully builds and maintains relationships in a collaborative team environment

  • A high level of proficiency in the use of spreadsheets – the ability to quickly understand business scenarios and model them is critical

  • Time management skills - Ability to prioritize and deliver against deadlines

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to present effectively in large groups
