About the role


Our Sr. Manager, Retail Marketing & Store Merchandising will be responsible for all direct retail marketing and brand initiatives in the US, Canada, & Mexico. They will lead a team to drive our strategic vision by driving brand awareness, acquiring new customers and retaining owners, launching new initiatives & services, and accelerating omnichannel growth both in-store and online.

  • Lead and deliver a multichannel strategy including ownership of annual marketing plans including paid owned and earned media, PR, CRM, .com/.ca/.mx/, services, on-site visual merchandising, events, etc.

  • Responsible for enhancing the overall direct retail marketing strategy, deliver sustainable and impactful programs & plans, and drive continuous improvement for the overall function

  • Must ensure efficient and timely execution of global, region, and/or market-specific marketing activations for new product launches, existing product refreshes, seasonal campaigns, etc.

  • Own and manage annual budget for all brand building investments including continual evaluation of spend to maximize return, identify cost efficiencies, etc.

  • Own and execute the day to day by leading our marketing team providing consistent coaching, direction, mentorship, support, and development

  • Requires ability to lead a team that communicates to a variety of clients, including internal teams, retailers, external vendors, industry professionals, brand representatives, customers, etc.

  • Develop strong relationships with senior leaders/key stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and satisfied

  • Partner with global and regional teams in various functions including sales, operations, etc.

  • Ability to understand the fundamental country differences in marketing and determine where and how content can be regionalized

  • Fulfil other duties as required:

  • Relish the opportunities to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role

  • Fix things that you see need fixing

  • Identify problems and find solutions


About you

  • 8+ years of experience in retail marketing; with a minimum of 2 years’ experience leading all retail marketing functions & directly managing a team

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to create short- and long-term strategy

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

  • Experienced with the creation and execution of large marketing initiatives within a company

  • Change management skills desired

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing department and quickly re-focus from unexpected outcomes

  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit; able to work in an ambiguous environment and willing to take risks as needed

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to deliver strong, polished, effective PowerPoint presentations

  • Ability to travel within the region up to 25%, under normal circumstances
