Global Supply Chain Graduate, Philippines
Finding my place and pushing beyond it
At Dyson, your voice matters from day one. Whether I’m supporting production or presenting to the leadership— I’m expected to show up, contribute, and grow.
I joined the Dyson Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme because it offered something special: real opportunities for Manufacturing Engineering in my country, plus the chance to rotate across functions and find where I thrive. Every day is hands-on and fast-paced; I have alignment meetings with my project team, visit contract manufacturers, and help solve real-time issues affecting output. Some days are packed with engineering deep-dives, others are spent with the Graduate Network Committee for my duties as the Chairperson for Philippines, or connecting with the Early Careers team.
The most rewarding part? The exposure and trust. I've led meetings, driven actions, and gained recognition from leadership in less than a year. I was even given the chance to present parts for approval to senior stakeholders for the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x multi-styler and dryer, an experience that deepened my motivation to further my career in Dyson.
It’s a lot, and it can get overwhelming especially when juggling urgent issues, supplier dependencies, and tight timelines. But I’ve learned to lean on my team and seek advice from leadership and experts, boosting my confidence in breaking down complex problems into practical solutions. Communication, collaboration, and staying adaptable are key.
One of the biggest highlights so far has been the people. Locally and globally, I’ve found mentors, teammates, and friends who’ve helped me grow in ways I never expected. Everyone’s driven and open to sharing.
If you’re curious, open to learning, and ready to step up, this is the place to be.
