Innovation is a journey

In 2022, I embarked on my journey with Dyson, bringing with me a background in automation engineering, electronics, and project management—essential pillars in embedded software development. This combination of expertise led me to my current role, where I’m able to make significant contributions to our innovative projects.

My typical day is a dynamic blend of leadership and teamwork. I work closely with two software teams, serving as the Product Owner for one and the Scrum Master for the other. Our mornings kick off with a stand-up meeting, setting the pace for the day. This is followed by a series of meetings with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, and internal sessions with the development teams. The synergy within these interactions fuels our progress and innovation.

The most satisfying aspect of my role is seeing our products come to life for our stakeholders and ensuring problems are resolved promptly. There’s a unique fulfillment in developing software that not only meets but exceeds expectations, driving the success of our projects.

Innovation is an ongoing journey, not a destination. It’s about continuously pushing boundaries, whether the priority is high or low, to create meaningful advancements. A prime example is our relentless pursuit of software issue resolution. I’ve spearheaded the planning of innovations for a Proprietary Embedded Software Platform, enhancing its reusability and efficiency. This proactive approach ensures we stay ahead in delivering top-notch solutions.
