Our business spans across multiple categories and countries. And our technology is unique and often complex. Our global creative team is responsible for finding the most compelling and relevant way to explain why it’s different and better.

How we work

Our creative teams collaborate with the broader business and senior management, including James and Jake Dyson, to define how we present our machines. From high-profile global campaigns that reflect our engineering approach to cutting-edge films and imagery that exceed the highest quality standards, we produce everything in-house. There are always great opportunities for career growth and progression. Our creative teams are predominately based in our Malmesbury campus in the United Kingdom, there are also creative hubs in Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Chicago, Amsterdam, Sydney, Seoul, and Dubai.

Image and Identity

Responsible for maintaining our visual identity and protecting the Dyson reputation. Ensuring that all internal and external communications are consistent and appropriate.

New product comms

Working directly with the engineers who are developing our technology, to establish the most effective and compelling way to present it.

Campaigns

Bringing our technology to market, acting on the direction provided by the New Product Comms team across the entire customer journey. The team creates a holistic customer experience that showcases our technology in the most engaging and relevant way.

Copy

Almost everything we create at Dyson has words on it. The Dyson Copy team works across the business to deliver messaging that brings our technology to life. Applying a consistent tone of voice – the voice of the engineer.

Digital

Bringing our technology and products to life with user centred design techniques to build world class Dyson experiences across multiple channels and sites. Enhancing shopper and owner journeys through next generation technologies and platforms, influenced by UX research and analytics.

Social

Creating impactful content for Dyson’s global and local markets’ social media channels. Working closely with our creative, commercial and comms teams to make sure Dyson’s content is social-first, inspiring and shareable.

Events

Creating and producing engaging experiences for global audiences that help to launch our products to market, explaining our technology through physical and virtual interactions, leaving a long lasting and inspirational connection with Dyson.

Retail

Defining and creating physical retail environments, that deliver compelling product launches, dynamic store concepts and pioneering experiences.

Film

Showcasing our products and technology through dynamic moving images across a broad range of channels, telling stories about our people and our exciting future. Storyboarding to final execution within a team of original thinkers who want to make films differently.

Imagery

Heroing and explaining our technology through compelling imagery and illustrations. Building a coherent suite of visual assets that strengthen our visual identity and narrative while demonstrating the relevance of our machines in people’s lives.

Studio

Supporting all print and multiple production channels. Understanding and applying highly developed VI guidelines to maintain consistent high quality across all projects, through all channels. The team also supports and collaborates with Dyson production hubs in several countries to ensure global consistency.
